I have a spindle that im trying to figure out what it belongs to.

It has a C9OJ-3107-C number on it and has the Kelsey Hays caliper bracket on it.
I thought this style bracket was only used on 65-67 applications??

any ideas?

You thought right on the bracket only 65-67 used it. As you can see it will fit on a drum brake spindle . I haven't done it myself but others have used that combination because of availability on 65-67 Mustang disc brake conversions.

thanks, 'but do you know what the spindle itself is correct for?

Royce Peterson

It's a big bearing 1969 - 70 drum brake spindle.

That means it has the big hub also. You could do the "Big Ford" brake swap on those.

Wouldn't the C9 part number make it a small bearing 69 spindle? I thought the 70 spindles used bigger bearings than 69?
