Stangman 39. I have sold a car at auction. be sure to meet the bidders once they sit down, you can get their cards, because months later if it was a no sale, they might  still be interested. Print up a fact sheet on your car and leave it on some seats. I still regret selling my gullwing for $13,000, now they are a million (of course I didn't admit it had a 190SL nose on it..)Also can you post a picture of the road art, I got a coupla Shelby paintings in there. I have them at No Reserve and that's scary as it's on the 9th, a Monday and I don't know how many less people come on a weekday tha a weekend.

The history of the King Cobras is not all cut and dried. Shelby ordered four but some other people ordered some and maybe the owners of those others years later wanted to make them look like ex-Shelby. So in other words, the owner histories (and crash & rebuild records) not as orderly as you want them to be. What would've been ideal is to buy one that Shelby kept around for 50 plus years, like his twin Paxton, it only had one owner 'til he sold it at Barrett-Jackson--I think that's the one ex-Shelby owned car that has the strongest ties to the man himself
