My take on it all:
As Coralsnake said, it was a great year for all the different 65 GT 350's. Various conditions - Concours to rusty.
In the area under the grandstands where the Concours and display cars were, was what I'd call the 12 Million dollar show. Ken Miles prototype cobra roadster, a 63 289 Cobra, 65 GT 350 #0003, A 65 GT 350 R model, 2 big block Cobras (a 427, AND a 428), an original family owned 65 GT 350 another 65 GT 350, a 66 GT 350, a Boss 429, and my 67 GT 350 #0036. All in an area about 100 X100. And I might be a little low on the $12,000,000.
On the parade laps, there was a wide variety of vehicles. Included was a Shelby Dakota. Me, I took my 2011 F-150 around for the 3 given laps. I don't know who was driving the pace car but I think they left the gas pedal out in the parking lot, hardly grazed 45 MPH.
The popular vote show was pretty good, Cobras, Ford GT's, plenty of Shelbys there.
The yellow shirt Indy guards(?) were mostly smiling even though it was tough to get to alike answers such as where to park the trailer (not according to the map at all). But highly kind. And all the SVRA people were glad we were there with them.
And it seems there were quite a few long term owners there. I bumped into an original purchaser of a 67 GT 500 (Ed), and a 289 Cobra owner who bought his in 1974. Plus a few others. Well these cars are keepers aren't they?
