Another 'Rare' Shelby from Dennis Collins

You can just jump to about the 16:00 mark to see the '67 Shelby GT500.  I'm not trashing Dennis, I generally enjoy his videos (although his taste in primate friends is questionable), but only he can call a lime gold '67 with factory magstars "rare"!

"It's a grail car!"  :o

Its ironic, in our hobby lots of people throw around the word 'Rare' all to often. Lime Gold was a dime a dozen color in the 1960s.
Past owned Shelby's:
1968 GT-350--Gold
1970 GT-500--#3129--Grabber Orange.
Current lifelong projects:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase heads, intake with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style
1968/70 Olds 442 W-30

I have always liked Lime Gold. My first car ('69 Mach-1) was LG. Now, my current '69 Fastback is also Lime Gold. It's my favorite color!

I like how he referenced ..... If you buy a HALF of a Shelby or a whole one life is good, probably in reference to half a car Drag racer! Shelby

I had a paper route in 1968 delivering the Dallas Morning News on my bike. There were two 1968 Shelby’s parked on the street on my route. Both of them were Lime Gold. Both had hubcaps.
