Did any CSX2000 series cars come with a Stewart Warner "Volt" gauge instead of an "Amp" gauge?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Not that I have ever heard of.  Ford Motor Company made arrangements for the CSX2201-CSX2589 instruments and some were listed as Ford experimental parts including the amperage gauge. The instruments were sent to A.C. Cars well in advance of when they were required for most new chassis and A.C. installed them.

CSX2126 was the prototype car for the mostly electrical system that was introduced at CSX2201 and zooming in on the circa May 1963 picture it appears to have an "AMPERES" marked gauge.
