Sometime in the 1970s, the COCOA group (Park, McIntyre, etc) were at the Pebble Concours.  Tom's 427 won an award.  The other Cobra guys bet him that he wouldn't do a burnout off of the winner's stand.   They lost.

The stuffy old people at the event probably fumpfered around for hours after that rude display from a Cobra-driving heathen.    8)

I LOVED the story of the burnout on the judges stand! Did anyone get video? That captures the spirt of the club better than anything I have heard for a while.
