Good luck . I just tried.  If the distributor is installed correctly the front of the intake typically obscures taking a picture of the suffix of the number.

The pressure is I'm relying on a person a thousand miles away from me.  :D . So tell me is an air dist diff than a non air dist? On CJs there are just 2 in 69 auto and manual. Same for 351W 4Vs?

Well Colin's old GT350 air 4 speed Vert has an aftermarket dist/ignition system in it but the original was boxed up. No reason to think it isn't correct?

I'll ask. My assumption(I know we shouldn't go by assumptions) is that the Ford shop manuals the 351W is the only Ford engine in 1969 that shows a single advance for both manual and automatic. That is why I have asked about my original rare 1970 ED dist(june of 69) that was a dual advance and no reason to suspect otherwise for a 70 but they tweaked the cars for 70 emissions. I have seen a few 70 GT350 4 speed cars with dual advances.

The prior pics are of the original dist(?) in Colin's old 69 Gt350 air 4 speed vert. The assumption(I KNOW, assumption) could be that the pics below are the advance that came on the orig dist sitting in a box that came with the car? Sorry, best I can do right now. Is this an original single advance from 1969? I asked for some stampings on it if they are present. I have never seen a dual advance on an "original" 69 Shelby 4 speed but I have on a few 70s like my car.

Thats the 69 single vacuum advance

I am pretty sure we will find the new 1970 distributors had the dual vacuum advance.
