CSX3063 on Ebay

It looks like this car went to a buyer and I wish him/her good luck.

I agree with all of the advice here on how the car is overpriced and would be a pain to sell.  This car already went no sale on PCA Market and the Seller/Dealer/Consignor and since then has been advertising it on its website for over a year.  This dealer has had some interesting cars in the past and I watch his site (since it is here in Houston) with some regularity.

To be clear, I was considering the car for what it is because CSX3063 is nothing more than a replica.  It never was sold through Shelby and has no real history.  The stamp on the frame looks fake to even me but I am no expert.  I have read all of the public discussion on this car.  Nevertheless, the car is a nice replica and if the seller was realistic I still probably would have bought it.

I know this is crazy but my thoughts were if I could have gotten the car for about $400K I know it would be an insane amount of money to pay for a replica but it still has a fun story and looks the part.  When the parts from which this car was recreated were owned by Forristall here in Houston I remember seeing them in his shop.  But, in hindsight, I am glad that the seller rejected my offer because something else better will come available.
