Free Bird from Lynyrd Skynyrd is up there but as a whole still Zeppelin had the most hits.  In fairness, three of the band members drew the short stick that last flight.

My favorites are more kind of "under the radar".... Badfinger, Ian Hunter, Mott The Hoople, Steve Forbert....

Mott is the sh@t !  Badfinger with no matter what, day after day to name a few are superb  !
