Brake pedal stainless disc

I have 2 brake pad stainless discs. one has black painted letters and second has no paint and doesn't appear to ever have had paint. Both appear to have been installed at some time.  Which is correct for 67 brake pad on s/n 19xx with A/T?

Believe you will find that the black recessed area is the one. There are at least a couple of versions of the disk depending on when they were made and possibly by which supplier plus of course you have allot of years of used reproductions out there
