Interesting set of Kelsey Hayes 15 x 5 wheels on ebay

Anyone know why they would not have Fomoco stamps? Real deal or ???

Those are not Ford wheels. They are Willys wheels.
Specifically: they are Motor Wheel X-40046’s issued by Kelsey Hayes and given the Willys specific KH 46773.
There were Motor Wheel X-40046’s issued by Kelsey Hayes for Ford applications. They were given KH 44642 IDs and stamped both with KH and the FoMoCo script logo.
I have moved a lot of these wheels over the years (see attached).
These are not to be confused w the separate 15 x 5 1/2 C1AZ-1007-A wheels nor the C5ZX-1007-A 15 x 6.

This seller keeps posting these same wheels with a higher price each time. They were $1,200 not long ago. But, someone told him they belong on Shelby’s, so he keeps jacking up the price.

I suspect that that seller is sitting on a lot of these wheels.

You wouldn’t happen to have one of those 15 x 5 1/2s for sale would you? I need 1 in good shape.

Not sure if I remember correctly but my 55 Thunderbird had a set like those on it...15X5, and I think they were Willys.

They may well have been Ford wheels as these wheels were OEM on 55-56 T-Birds bearing part #B5S-1015A.
