Help identifying this vintage aluminum FoMoCo intake

Helping a friend:  This '62 Thunderbird's original 390 has been retrofitted with a 'supposedly vintage" "of the era"  FoMoCo aluminum four-barrel intake and modern Holley 650 double-pumper.

I see a FoMoCo logo, but no other clues (to my eye) that tell me what year/model of Ford it came off of.

Any help would be appreciated.

Upon researching, and not able to see casting numbers (the car's in another state) it's looking like:
 
C3AZ-9424-C   352/390/406   1960-63   4V   Aluminum

So far, that's the ONLY aluminum single 4-barrel intake until getting up in time to a 428.

Thoughts?

Look for a date code cast on top by the thermostat opening.  I think the ‘60 intakes had the firing order on the back and not on the runner.  Some of the pre ‘63 don’t have a casting number.

Good info, thanks.  The car is located in another state, so these pix are all I have to work from. 

More research just revealed:

C3AZ 9424-C (C1AE 9424-C) - 390, 406/4v Alum ('69 Blue Bible - Galaxie HiPo)

C6AZ 9424-M (C6AE 9425-?) - (62-up) 390, 406/4v Alum Equal Runner ('69 Blue Bible - HiPo)

Take a look at MustangTek and look at the 10th and 11th intakes down. They look like a pretty close match.

I wonder if the Flip-top had one of these manifolds when it ran the 390? NASCAR was limited to 1 4 bbl. Later I think they ran Webers on a 427 in the car.

Affixed to CSX2196 was new thin-gauge aluminum body with a flip-forward front end and a rear-hinged section. Also fitted was an experimental NASCAR engine measuring 390 in³ and built completely from aluminum. With all these weight saving measures, the car weighed 1600 lbs, some 500 less than a standard 289 in³ car. In this configuration, Dave Friedman said the car was referenced as ‘The Turd’ for its ugly shape by the mechanics but was publically called the ‘Flip-Top’.

Thanks Roy, looks like you nailed it!    I think it's the C3AE-9424-E.    It appears to have all the right bumps, bulges, lines and FoMoCo script.  Not sure why there's no part number on the #1 runner, but for now I'm going to suggest it's this one on the T-Bird.

 That is the one that I figured it was. It may have been an early production one before they had a number for it.

That intake has a lot higher rise to it.  Just look how the two center runners go up at a steeper angle than on the one from the op pictures.  I’m not saying it’s a 427 HR but it definitely is taller.

I suspect it is - I understand when the 427 went in the car it had Webbers. Those heads also look to be unpainted aluminum.
