correct scott only a serious cougar guy would know that as the xr7 verts had that long funky tip chrome moulding right. haha

Are the curved convertible hockey sticks supposed to be chrome?  Mine are lightly pitted and I wanted to get them refinished.  Would re-chroming be the correct way to restore them?  Thanks.

If they are the same as used on the Cougar convertibles, yes, they were chrome.  I re-chromed the set I had on the Cougar vert that I used to own.

made out of pot metal. When re-chroming the pits will have to be filled in as with other pot metal pieces.
