Actually have a picture around the house somewhere of Pele and I when I worked for the 1994 World Cup organizing committee and he came by our office.Total gentleman and class act all the way.One of the best ever.He will be missed.

When I was 10 years old in 1958, Sweden met Brazil in the World Cup Final, and I saw the game on TV. Sweden took the lead with 1-0 but Brazil won with 5-2. Pele scored 2 goals. He was 17 years old. Then many years later, he played in a training match in Stockholm against AIK, a club from Stockholm. At kick off, one Brazilian lifted the ball up to Pele who hit the ball on volley
and as the AIK goalkeeper was standing too far out the ball sailed towards the goal but hit the crossbar. Had never seen that done before. Pele was not only a genius but also an excellent human being.
Sweden captured the bronze medal in 1994. I saw two games here in Dallas at Cotton Bowl.
