I'm sure someone has a few of those laying around...

Hello,
I saw a posting about one in the S.F. Bay area C/L

I saw that one on Craigslist as well a while back.  He's had it up there a long time.

The guy wanted $20K for it, and he wouldn't send any close-up pictures of the transmission / casting dates.
Nothing beats a classic!

Bret,
Hope all is well, Happy New Year.
I have a BW box that was rebuilt about 25 years ago.
Came with a 65 & 66 shelby I bought, >> extra parts are always nice
Not an aluminum box, but side case is aluminum. 28 spline output I think
Perhaps Cowls son has a few cases .left?
Cowles wanted me to count the teeth on two of the gears in the box, which I never did.
He was going to buy it for parts.

This box may make a good core for parts to build the alum case box.
John
Is this the first futuristic exotic in the world?
Size of an ac cobra, but built in 1935 !
