SO, is stupidly crazy?
« on: January 07, 2023, 04:21:52 PM »
A while back I sold my car.
Called to cancel the insurance.
It happened that I sold the car over two months ago. I was asked if I have a copy of the bill of sale. I THINK since it was over two months ago, they did not require me to produce a copy of the bill of sale.
SO, what is up with that??? Now you have to give your insurance company a bill of sale, stating how much you sold your car for??? Is this yet another bit of information that is for public eyes, like the banks reporting what you take out and put in?
WOW!
Did we ever screw up the mid terms, our voting in this country shows how stupid we are. Do you think we someday might get smart again? Is this a strange Country or what?

I could be wrong but I doubt your insurance company requires that they know how much you sold the car for - just that it was sold, and when, as you claim it was.

Correct. If you had called the insurance company that day, they would have no issue cancelling the policy. Since you waited a long time, they want proof of the ownership change in order to give you a refund up to the date of sale.

Yes, the level of curiosity in one's private affairs by the government is astounding.

Kill switches have been approved - this opens the door for the full OBD3. Big brother isn't watching he's in your back pocket.
