The description from BJ says "The car is listed in the Shelby American Registry with serial number CSE67431F41SS023, although it now has an Arizona state-assigned VIN".  In which part of the registry is the car listed?  Or is there now a separate registry for "Super Snakes", something I would NOT support.

Your are confusing the SAAC Shelby registry with the Shelby American registry (Vegas)  which tracks the late model cars and licensed products the modern Shelby American produces and supervises which is what BJ is hoping IMO. BJ is technically correct in their description and I am sure is counting on the confusion to help legitimize the car for the uninformed.

Thanks and I agree as I do not like Eleanors for the most part.  I miss my 68 and would like to find a non matching drivetrain 68 so I can paint another one in these colors(I wouldn't do it to a matching numbers car).
