Shipping from Hawaii will be a killer. I wonder if Bob still has the clear MPC J Car he promised me when I worked for him on Kit Car - I told him he could keep the box I only wanted the model.

You could always fly to Hilo for a Hawaiian vacation, visit Bob, see a bubbling volcano (he lives not far from it) and then take the crates back as luggage with you. 8)

I probably have about 25 of these plus about 75 more models, most NIB, plus probably 400 to 500 die-casts. Slowly going through them to see what I'm going to keep and what I'm going to sell.I haven't seen Bob since the mid to late 90's at the SEMA show when he, I and another scribe named Jeff Koch who wrote the Hot Rod magazine article about my car, went to a private Sammy Hagar concert in one of the Banquet halls at the Hilton Hotel that was sponsored by Flowmaster. I'll try to send him an email to say hi.
