HI--- I am installing NOS Front Valance on 69 Shelby GT 500 ---Can anyone help with paint detailing ----1] was valance painted on the car---2] was back painted or left raw fiberglass 3] bracket to which fog lights were mounted and valance mounted to fender was painted car body color or black---thank you

You should review the plant pictures to understand the process. Here is a link to Coralsnakes website
  http://www.thecoralsnake.com/1969Plantpics.html.  The entire front was painted assembled together off of the car. The front valance fenders headlight buckets etc. after the front was painted the backside which was bare fiberglass had body color overspray but was then black out . All you could see when looking down was what was blacked out which included visible lower portions of the inside of the fenders .The fog light bracket was painted black from the supplier but then it was painted the dark gray metalic of the grill . bottom side was very thin coverage. Again study the pictures to undrstand the process and then you will better understand what was painted and what was not etc.
