Not mine but I have a question about the Ad:  It is a 1968 Lime Gold GT 500KR Convertible with 4 Speed and Saddle Interior with White Top.  Beautifully restored for $225,000 Roswell GA.  770-641-8354.  It is in the January Issue of "AUTABUY".   The ad says the Production # is 3054 but at the end of the ad is says the Shelby # is 04267.  My question is what is the 3054 number?

If anyone is interested = There is also a 68 Lime Gold GT 350 Fastback for $149,900 and it is in St. Louis, MO  314-993-7104.

8D3054 is the DSO code. Nothing to do with the vin. They are trying to hype the car by the DSO code? I'm sure Pete can tell us if this car is special in any way and I suspect not.
Shelby owner since 1984

Thanks.

If it is 4267, it was a fairly accomplished show car.  Fifth car down from the top.

Cool, that site might want to change it from Lime Green to Lime Gold though.

Coralsnake

Why?

The Ford MPC and 1968 Shop Manual refer to the color as "Lime Green Metallic"

That is interresting.  Everything I have ever seen has called it Lime Gold but I do not have a 1968 MPC. Probably a lot of colors get more than one name I suppose. Learn something new every day.

In all fairness, some Ford materials do call the color "Lime Gold" but there is no need to change anything.
