I loaded 2 pics of the alt. as taken apart. Not sure what to do. Can clearly see the blue paint . It does not need to be unique . I may just paint both black,  Thanks for all the comments.

Thanks for sharing and posting. Another one for the list. Since replacements didn't come with Hipo pulleys and from Ford without pulley or fans think you can make a strong case for its origins IMHO.

As far as small non-typical details its always difficult. Never mention them and the little non-typical details done one multiple cars at the same plant over the same production period get changed and we lose those details on restored cars that make our cars different and more cookie cutter like. While there are other owners that will choose the oddites found on other cars to make their cars stand out or be "special". It's a two edge sword. But as mentioned, in a judging situation, it is the responsibility of the owner to point these out before judging begins and offer supporting documentation to be considered.

Original fan and pulley from 6S1757 are black.
