In my opinion, it's either an original shelby or not. A "license replica" can only make a potential buyer feel better, not change the cars pedigree.

VIN doesn't matter.  This is another Shelby Licensing authoried heritage creation from Lengendary GT of PA, not something original from Shelby American production. 8)

VIN kinda matters if you want to register a car…Strange way to try and sell a vehicle…The side stripe IS a work of art though… :o

Just what they put in the description. VIN and CSS number in pics below from ad pics. I like the car as a resto mod but it isn't a real Shelby regardless of the "paperwork" in my eyes.

Well....its a 'recreation' done by Legendary and sold by Streetside Classic Cars. Lets be fair, it is what you would call a resto-mod, or a 'tribute'. They even listed the incorrect color..its not Grabber Orange. More like Calypso Coral. What ever the case, you couldn't buy a donor car, and do all the work for what its current bid is at $44,900K. Would I buy it, no.
Past owned Shelby's:
1968 GT-350--Gold
1970 GT-500--#3129--Grabber Orange.
Current lifelong projects:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase heads, intake with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style
1968/70 Olds 442 W-30

Continuation of what?

Someone’s idea of a restomod Mustang draped with a 69 Shelby body panels, supercharged BOSS302 a little bit of present day signature stitching and maybe even a touch screen monitor! But does it have a backup camera?

Naaaa I’ll pass. No backup camera and no ground effects. But then again, it’s got the HEMI
Uh, no

For $44,998.50 buy it now I would buy it in a heart beat.  It is a cool tribute car to have fun in . I wouldn't have to worry about damage to my genuine 69 or 70 Shelby getting damage going to the grocery store. ;)  It is not a buy it now but a reserve auction. I do not think it is realistic to think that the dealers reserve is anywhere close to that starting price .
