Does anyone have any experience with having dash speakers rebuilt?

I have used Matt at Utah reconing for several different projects. Have been very happy with the results. Always get the same article back, very reasonably priced, quick turn around. Old school, he fixes it sends it to you, you send him a check.   Matthew Shelton, 801 419 3099

Thanks, what can he do with the metal frame? Replate it paint it? The Ford frames look like they might have the dark dichromate?

I have never had him address the frame, just the magnet and cones. Sorry.

Here is before and after. I used JV Restorations. I was happy with the results.

Bob, I paid $75 with return shipping in April of 2021. Very reasonable at the time.

I had a pair of C8OA stereo speakers rebuilt with new cones and paper by Speakerworks here in Tulsa. Cost for two of them was $75, ask for David.

Matt in UT lives about 40 min North of me.  I had him restore a 65-66 dash speaker last year using a nice original frame I bought on EB for $10.  He had it done in 1-2 weeks and looks completely original.  Lifetime guarantee.
