I've been with Hagerty for about 30 years. Never made a claim, so they have A LOT of my $$$ saved up  :P for if I ever have to.

Totally agree with the posts above that say to buy quality, not a cheap price, in an insurance company.

Hagerty used to just be some type of middle-man to the actual insurer, and my Hagerty I.D.card does list another company.

Anyone else have this same thing?  What company is listed? I'll go the garage and see what mine says.

BTW:  IMO, the carbon credit/plant a tree snowflake feel-good crap is just starting. Their weekly round-up of articles and surveys have been trending more and more woke.

Ugh.  Just insure my cars and lay off the green agenda.

It was some 4 years ago now.  I honestly don't remember.  But it wasn't a collector policy on the other person's daily driver.  It wasn't any insurance company I'd ever heard of.  IIRC the adjuster told me that company had some 4 different names they sold policy's under, all cut rate.
Pirating!  Corporate take-over without the paperwork

I have had 3 claims with Hagerty. They paid in spades. They had no problem paying 1K for a NOS hood molding that I needed(it was on Ebay at the time).
