In the end there is no replacement for cubic inch displacement
Even CI didn't save the Camaro.......

For 2022, Chevrolet brings the COPO Camaro back. But this time, it's not packing 7-liters of American V8. It's got a 572 cubic inch, or 9.4-liter monster of a V8 motor with forged internals, making it the largest car engine that GM makes, and indeed America's largest V8.

Wasn't that 3x2 setup a POS to keep in tune. More eye candy than a hp gain, 435 vs 425 for a single 4bbl.

Apples to oranges comparison. Dual Dominators and two Inlines...

But - Ford gave up on the original Cross Boss that used "little" Holleys. It takes a lot of CFM to make Ford 302/351 canted valve heads happy.

Not quite. The original and experimental Cross-Boss with dual Holley 4V's was very expensive to make. Remember, It required an off set distributor, cam extension, and a special timing cover/water pump. Also, I have 'heard' that this intake combo was a performance turd. Once the 1970 Trans Am rules were out, only a single 4V was required. That IS when the second, and famous Cross-Boss with the Inline was designed and produced. This combo was deemed illegal "And not in the spirit of competition" by the SCCA.

Again, no. Just ask those early Tri-Power GTOs and 442 guys. Don't forget the mighty Mopar A-12 440-6 cars.

Race car only. Not available to the public. Its Chevy's last gasp...Not to be outdone, Dodge offers its last Challenger with 1,000 horse power. And yes, this one is available for retail sale.
