843 didn't have any LeMans stripes on her from what I recall you wrote.  You indicated that you had stripped down the repaint to the original paint and saw no stripes?  I think the photo car with Ken Miles has stripes.

Yep no LeMans stripes per the factory records and when I stripped it. I do have a little of the red paint and gold side stripe I scrapped off the inside of the door trying to nail down it was really a Hertz car - remember it was 1975 a time when "ALL" Hertz cars were black.
