  Question did the 67 -68 Shelbys ever have a  cobra w/Shelby in small letters on the upper left hand side  of the trunk lid?

Remember that 67 and 68s were built at two different Ford assembly plants and each year that cars were converter by two different companies. Because of this, and other things its often not a good idea to lump but together. Not to say that there are not plenty of "restored" cars that owners and builder have not borrow details from one another only to get found out later

Sorry should have  read  left side of the trunk lid small Cobra w/the word Shelby on it .

No, not on the 1968s

1967 has a small Cobra Snake between SHELBY and the Model designation, GT350 or GT500, but not underneath see attached...
