I had my buddy Anthony bring the #004 car and he brought some old pictures with him. Enjoy!

Hey Paul, it's great to have you back on the forum!!!

Those are definitely MKI #004 photos getting built at Watson Engineering. We know that not only by the 9/11/92 date, but also from seeing the Supercharger in the engine drop photo. Glad to see these new / old photos. These were probably taken by Chris DiMarzo as it was built. Very cool and thanks for sharing.

FYI; here's a link to the old forum posts on #004 from the web archive site.

That's Steve Grebeck working the engine hoist and Chris DiMarzo guiding the engine in (driver's side).

Wow, ok I was wrong on the "Who" that took the photos, but at least Chris was in the picture.
How did you know who they were? Are your initials removed?

Rich, I have to say it took a bit of prodding, but I got Anthony DiRusso and Chris to reconnect again but it was so worth it. Chris was great, providing again ton of pictures of the ##004 build. He even got it while on the Dearborn assembly line!

In Anthony's defense, he had recently gotten married and had his 1st kid. Life was rolling by quickly. Now he has worked more time into enjoying the car. We just went to the American Muscle show at Maple Grove this past weekend. There were a few people who knew exactly what this particular car was. I really enjoyed myself. The photo doccumentation was fun to share and I think it helped seal the deal to win the specialty class!

Here is another pic or two from 1992.

I'll work on posting more cool stuff.

Thanks for sharing more photos.

I should have cancelled work for that day and made the trip to Maple Grove. I have not been there in years.
