I wonder if this is one of them. As a 16 year old kid we would hit Tasca every now an then . Those were the days.

If one of those two are it, not sure why they wouldn't put Cragar's back on it.

Those three Shelbys  in the picture appear to be 66's not the 65 the thread is about. Notice the quarter windows and the side scoops.

sorry about the HUGE pic. I think they were 65's. No glass rear quarter windows. 65 rims. Unless I am having a senior moment.

Ok this was taken the same day (both blk an white)  of the Tasca Race car. Thinking here my buddy that went with me took pics to. Let me see if he stills has them. Poor guy never had a Shelby.

You can see quarter window plexi on each car indicating 66's

"65 rims" ?  Those are Cragars which came on early 66's and notice the side scoops. Windows are a bit difficult to see on all due to the angle and the sun glare but they are there  ;)

There is a 65 to far left.

Could be a regular Mustang, I do not see the tach and oil pressure pod.

This car was sold here some years back. https://performancemotorsofhanover.com/sold-showcase-3/1965-shelby-gt-350-5s149/

Why were the Braces for the Louvers removed?  Are installing the 66 Windows or Replacing the Braces?  If Replacing them, where do you get them from, I have a friend who needs a pair.

Anyone want to venture a guess at what price this will end up, and if it will sell?

I agree, right up there in '63 Z06 tanker territory, but I think $450K will not buy it, maybe $550K?

I think this car should go for north of $500K. The buyer would be "safe" at that level as cars of this quality have done nothing but go up in value, more than keeping up with other "blue chip" cars.
