Fred Ballard is your guy is he is still rebuilding those old pumps.  The last contact info I had for him was:
28916 Flowerpark Drive
Canyon Country, Ca. 91387-1801
661-251-2362

Steve McDonald Formally known as Mcdonas

Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

I searched for 2 years to find a core. Owner had it at Freds and decided to change direction. I made the deal and Fred did the restoration and shipped it to me. It turned out like jewelry to those who know its value. Fred is DA MAN.
Continuous caretaker of 5S228 since May 1967

Just got two 4201s back from Fred.  The problem is he does such nice work you might not want to put it on your car. Just put it in a display case.

Yes, I also have a piece of Fred's "jewelry" on my parts shelf, a 3939S. He does great work.

I left mine on the shelf and bought a new version from Napa for regular driving.  Works great and even looks similar to the uneducated.

Fred may be overwhelmed right now......after waiting a year for mine to get rebuilt I got it back in March......
He said he wife had gotten real sick and he was only working like 2 days a week on pumps.....

You may want to ask him what his back log is he will be unfront.

Yes he does great work but letting you know his lead time
