When they opened they used forklift and platform. There is opening in roof to drop crane cable through and lift platform. Yes lots of krs but also many very significant others. 2 factory drag cars, only 66 Paxton automatic (carrolls personal) 8 69/70 drag pak convertibles all different colors, 66 hertz cars in every color and the only hertz kr

The factory 66 Paxton was a siginficant find.

I received a call from a gentleman in San Francisco that was going through a divorce.
He explained that he had parked a 66 Shelby years earlier in a parking garage in downtown San Francisco.

He told me it was a factory Paxton car and the only automatic.
They made 11 Paxton's and 10 were 4 speeds.
He said he owned the automatic and had it for years.
Within a week I met up with the gentleman and he showed me the car.  At that time I called Jim Cowles and he confirmed the numbers with Howard Pardee.
It was the lost automatic and the seller had photos of the car in magazines being road tested against 4 speeds from 1966.

I purchased #392 and in short time Ted wanted it in his unique collection.
Tim restored it and the rest is history..

It's an important part of Shelby history....

No, they are not. That one was not a 4spd AC car.
