Carol "Bunny" Burkett and Pinto  ;)

Love that Bunny

Not wishing to be crude, but I was trying to figure out what the name Cotton Pony has to do with Bunny's red Mustang.

Then... :o

Is this a one off '70 Mustang ? for sale, says Cobra jet above the price, or something offered by Ford. Screen Grab, Whitby, Ontario,

Canada.

Mike

PS: looking at it again, I don't think that rear wing is factory ?, looks to have baby moons as well ?

At first I thought it was one of those Sprint Editions or Bicentennial  Mustangs, but the image is '70-'71, too early.

I lived in Whitby at the time, but don't remember seeing this car.

This should probably be in the cars for sale etc. thread, but it 's been and gone in 2006, if this is the wrong spot I will move it.

I came across this by chance,  it has probably been discussed here ? I knew nothing about these two Firestone Mustang tire test

cars, does any have more info ?

Reminded me of the '67 Super Snake, Goodyear test car.
