Tony this one "could" have been proven( potentially) by records from the junkyard because they would have had to surrender the title and according have records of the VIN.

propayne, some more Cougar stuff for you ! Here's a number of photos from Wheelspin magazine, from Toronto, Canada about the

new '67 Cougar. The photos were taken at Star Mercury on Dufferin Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I love the language in the

copy  ::) in the photo of the interior, is that an XR-7 ? what is that radar sentry they talk about ? some early radar detector ?

It says the car has a 390, has a GT badge on the front fender. Also has '66 plates, when was the '67 Cougar released ?

Mike

?? Could the XR-7 option be combined with the GT option
"Radar sentry" .Wow, didn't know that had such a thing back in 1967.

Couldn't find a thread specific to period pics of '65 GT350s.

Any idea as too who this is with the '65 GT350 ?

Mike

TJinSA

Looks to be James "Big Jim" McLean on that fender. He was SA General Manager

So, my friend has a 65, that has a dent where his left leg is in that picture, is his car worth more with the slight dent?
