Side-Oilers

Car has CA license plate.  Any idea what those two grille badges signify?
Current:
2006 FGT, Tungsten. Whipple, HRE 20s, Ohlin coil-overs. Top Speed Certified 210.7 mph.

Kirkham Cobra 427.  482-inch aluminum side-oiler. Tremec 5-spd.

I came across this image, looks like a photo/video shoot, what is the story behind it ? '67 Brittany  Blue with parchment, and do we

know the car number ? Is this from one of those road rallys in the middle East ? I'm looking at the women in the back ground.

Mike, that's the Pomona Fairgrounds' Dragstrip.  On the return road.  Starting line is to the far right, out of frame.

Thanks for the i.d. on that location, spectacular views from there ! Was that where they also had the road course for sports cars ?

I think that was Pomona fairgrounds, same place ?

Here's a pic of Dave and Sherry MacDonald in I believe CSX2128 ? at Pomona in '63.
