From what I understand Rader offered to supply the wheels for free for any of Barris' TV and movie cars.

That would make sense as they seem to be on all his movie & TV cars.
Looks like some of the stars also posed for ads.

You show up with a case of cheap beer and 50 grand you're leaving with a goat.

Side-Oilers

I'd go as far as offering two cases of Bud Light, and no cash.  Looks like a pile of trouble.  Bet there's a lot of diseases in that old beast.

I always like to see the house where the person I'm buying a car from lives.  You can tell a lot about how a person handles their lives, by how they keep their property.

My buddies and I, back in our 20s-30s, used that same philosophy when sizing up women to potentially date. If her car is a mess, and her apartment is a mess, her "girl areas" might likely be tended to in the same haphazard manner.

I made it this far with no diseases, so something worked out.  Regardless if two cases of beer were involved or not.

Everyone remembers the black 1955 Chevy from the movie Two Lane Blacktop was also used in American Graffiti.

In Two Lane it raced a GTO and in American Graffiti it a raced a 32 Ford.

Unfortunately what a lot of people don't know is that both movies where fairy tales to make us feel good.  Under the hood of the 55 was one nasty 454 backed by a Muncie 4 speed and a Ford 9 inch rear eith 4.88.  This 55 would run 10s through its mufflers and it would gave annihilated both the GTO and the yellow 32 coupe.

Once upon a time.....Nostalgia.....

When I started to look for a Model A one of the video's I came across said look under the hood. If it's clean and tidy the rest of the car will be. Good advice.

My only complaint - the guy didn't know how to cut ty-wraps.
