I would've never guessed that George Carlin was a car enthusiast. Seriously, never. Glad to have photo proof.

He was funny as hell, though. 

My wife says I'm getting to be more like him, in my old age. I'm now constantly saying things like:
"Why is it okay do do this (points to sign) but I can't change one letter in it and do that?"  Or "Who was put in charge of making this rule? It makes no sense."

And, about a dozen others, on a daily basis.

These days, the seven words you can't say on TV are those that the wokes have eliminated for making them cry.

The man was right on, he was a prophet.  Laughed at him then, but listen to his words today and see all that's happening. He was on point


George Carlin bought a car that could cover the distance in comfort and speed. A 1970 Pontiac Trans Am coupe was his ride. This car was bought new at Livingston Pontiac in Woodland Hills, California. It was a Polar White car with blue stripes and blue interior. A picture exists with George and his brother Pat Carlin together standing next to it at the dealership. Pat Carlin was a salesman at the dealership at the time.

1966 Shelby GT350 stuck in the snow somewhere in New York state:

And as anyone who has spent time in the northeast knows, a car that lived in a climate like that and was used during the winter didn't take long to develop corrosion from the salt used to melt the snow and ice from the roadways. I suspect that poor blue Shelby either met an untimely death or helped teach its restorer some new curse words.
