Picture is Western Washington.

McCollum was in Spokane, completely different treescape (predominantly firs in pictures) and topography. Not that someone wouldn't/couldn't  cross the state.

Yes, one of our WASAAC members ID'd the location as Martin Way in Olympia.

That's a great clue...

I've added Tallakson Ford in Seattle and Marv Tonkin in Portland, Or into the mix with the other 2 dealers.
There's about 45 cars in BB and LG paint from those four dealers.

The parchment interior is the next biggest help, cutting them down to only four cars...

I bet this is the general location of the picture in question - 7504 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA. Based upon Richfield Station in original picture.

I don't know how to do that. Maybe someone else does?
Also, don't know if that's possible on a 52 year old car.

Just received this from the friend of another WASAAC member...

"It looks like the picture was taken in front of the old WSP headquarters on Martin Way in Olympia. That facility closed in approximately 2003. It is now a shopping center."

The shopping center is Martin Way Station.

Not that it will help much, but from 1963 to mid 66 there was one type of Washington license plate , in mid 66 to mid 67, there was a one year only plate, non reflective , with WASHINGTON spelled out on the bottom. So fairly rare today, Cory is already hoarding them. Initially, King county in Seattle got the "A" starting letter since they had the largest population , but in mid 66 they had to add another letter because of the growth in King county and that letter was "O" , so this plate was registered in King County. In 1968 things changed, Shelby production went to A.O. Smith and the plates for Washington became reflective.

Hov,
This info is more useful than you thought! As a one year only issued plate, it would seem to support it as the original issued plate to the car. Having it registered in Kings County would support that the selling dealer was likely Metke Ford in Bellevue, WA as the closest Shelby dealer. There was only one car sold at Metke Ford with Parchment interior. It was a Brittany Blue GT350 automatic (210F).

By the way, there were no parchment interior cars sold through Tallakson Ford in Seatle, WA. I also checked the smaller dealers in the surrounding area. They only sold one or two '67 Shelby's and none of those had a parchment interior. McCollum Motors in Dishman, WA on the other side of the state did sell 1 parchment car. Marv Tonkin in Portland, Oregon sold the only other 2 parchment interior cars, but it too was much farther away.

Drum roll please....I think this car is going to be VIN #67210F8U00942. If I'm right, the officer in the photo could be the original owner listed in the 2011 registry. Car number #0942 was listed last month on eBay customized extensively and repainted white.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Can't make out the license plate on the Comet, but this location looks like Los Angeles area.

I thought it was a vintage photo, but then...satellite dishes.

I wondered this as well. Some digging in the old photos show it is not one of the original trailers.
Yes, those the Satellite dishes on the roof too
