According to the original owner, 282 had a dent in the right fender. The body shop repaired it and painted the stripe back on that section. Don't know why they didn't just order stripe from Ford.

Do you know which dealership that picture is of?

Sure looks like Johnny Bolton Ford in Winter Park/Maitland, Florida, but maybe I'm wrong?      :-\

Hi Cory,

No, I'm still looking for more of those, especially when it was painted maroon.

I have no idea where I got that pic, might have been from the early days of this forum so possibly someone here has a better version. Found it last night looking for something else...

Very interested in Daves post #1265. (Blue 66 Shelby setting next to dealership.) If it is Johnnie bolten Ford dealership in Maitland Florida my blue 6S2201 shelby came from this dealership. Is it just me or does it look like lemans stripes on car? Registery states painted magnums but I purchaced car with ten spokes on car.  Any info would be appreciated. Randy

Yep, that photo was taken in 1973, I may have posted it earlier in this thread. Notice the black painted 10-spokes...
