Are those lights on the roll bar?

If they are it looks like they are facing the back.

Ouch! Does that car have a unique grill opening? It looks like half way between a 289 and a 427 nose? Ned?

That is odd!

That oval grille opening appeared as early as November '64 at the Nassua speed weeks. The only earlier photo I have in my files is from Sebring in March. It shows a normal 289 nose.

The lights on the roll bar are pit ID lights

here's a better look at the nose.

Even as early as '66, folks buying and driving their Mustangs were referred to as "Mustangers"!!  That's cool 8)

Is that a mickey mouse  decal on dash?
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

^^^ That picture looks to be from the mid-70's, not the 60's.

That's what my thoughts were too. His face looks a little more "chunkier" that photos of sixties and the gray in his side burns.  Maybe even late 70's.
