Also the Lincoln-Mercury decal and someone tried hard to scrape that Botany 500 decal off.

Maybe all the incongruities is the reason for the closeup photo.

1109RWHP - these are some great pictures. This one particularly caught my eye. A Firestone sticker above the Goodyear tire and a brake dust coated daisy wheel - the same style as I have on my car (minus the brake dust).

Love the long lug nuts. 👍🏻
Nothing beats a classic!

Love the blacked-out center - Bullitt style! I don't believe that I've seen 200s wheels in two colors. I have one set that's chromed and one that is just polished aluminum.

I have the 200s on mine also.

The original Trans-Am 200-S Magnesium wheels are quite rare now and probably too brittle for anything other than Concourse shows. Fortunately there are alternative light weight wheels out there that replicate the 200's look and are far stronger.

They were dangerous when they were new!! The wheel was weak in the center and cracked all the time Follmer hit the pit wall at Riverside in '69 after the wheel center broke completely out of the outer. Wrote that car off until it was saved MANY years later by Richard Rodeck.

I bought a set of the magnesium ones off of Ebay years ago but I was too skeerd to use them. Plus they were all 5x5 bolt pattern. This is what my 200s wheels looked like before I redid them.
