The legend of the Florida Three Musketeers !

Well here is the story of our "Three Musketeers" and how they crossed their paths and united to become part of the carabins.

It started with our first one "Porthos" who came into our lives in 2008.

Porthos the 2007 GTH came to us through a mutual friend. He contacted us and told us of the availability of this GTH, how it traveled from Los Angeles to the Island of Hawaii.

Once in Hawaii it spent its service time going in circles around the island until it was decommissioned and purchased by a serviceman.

The serviceman eventually relocated to the great State of Florida where he eventually decided to sell it to us.

This was our first GTH or Musketeer "Porthos" living with us since 2008

The second Musketeer "Aramis" came to us in 2016

Aramis the 2016 GTH came to us through a dear and esteemed friend that was employed by who else HERTZ

When the 2016 GTH program was announced, a plan went into place.

A contact was made and it was made known that we where interested in acquiring a 2016 GTH when they became available. 
The South Florida area was blessed by having multiple GTHs.

One of these was set aside and if it was a box of cookies one would say they where the very last box behind all the other boxes.

Did it get rented ?

Yes of course it did, but sparingly.

The day came when it was announced the GTHs would be sold.

At first the price was rather high. We held. It remained on the back of the shelf, behind the all the other GTH cookies.

The GTHs did not sell very fast, prices where dropped several times to the point we pulled the trigger making us the first civilian owners of this particular 2016 GTH

We now had our second Musketeer "Aramis" owned since 2016

The saga continues

The third Musketeer "Athos" came to us in 2023

This one had been in the works since 2008 when we first aquired our 2007 GTH

Athos the 1966 GTH came to us through another dear and beloved friend.

We and others where looking for a 1966 GTH because I wanted to have a set of GTHs

The key here is wanted not needed.

Well that day came and I recieved a call informing me of Athos who happened to be local.

Had a expert access this GTH. Then had another expert access it again, both gave it a green light. We then studied the bidding pattern, made some calculations, and as they say had someone execute the transaction and brought it home.

We have had our third Musketeer "Athos" since 2023

Onto the next chapter of our story

Everyone knows that the Three Musketeers where really four Musketeers

The plot thickens !

We find out the 2024 C-8 has many more improvements and enhancements over the earlier models.

Its November 2022, we decide to visit a local car dealer  and release / trade in one of our vehicles a 2019 black (is there any other color?)  C- 8  ( pronounced sea-ate )

We place our order there and wait patiently for its arrival in 2023

By the way at m.s.r..p. and before the price increase for 2024 came in.

Well it just ( yes it is black ) arrived, if you have never driven one, do so. Its smooth and docile. But the pure satisfaction you feel going through curves and that  acceleration turns it into a beast !

And yes there is NO other car that is affordable on this planet today that can compete with it

Remember again its affordable and disposable.

We know introduce you to the fourth Musketeer the 2024
" D'Artagnan " the invincible.  What a car !

Funny how close the name D'Artagnan is to Darth Vader
