I've been lucky to find some circa 1968 and 1969 NOS Lucas Lamps. I bought one new in the Ford box and 2 new in the Lucas Boxes. Of course the 68-70 Lamps did not come with covers when bought through Ford. Part number was C8ZZ-15200-D . Notice that this one is assembled like it was going in a 68 Shelby glass rotation and trim ring wise.  Notice the correct ENGLAND lens and small black grommet housing.

Here is a pair of Lamps sold over the counter back in 1968 and 1969. Curious as they are a set but the lenses one is mounted like you would find in a 68 Shelby and the other like in a 69-70 Shelby. Because these were not a Ford item I will assume it was arbitrary how they installed the lenses.

The Lucas boxes  doubled as a display. Here is how they were supposed to be displayed(of course probably not upside with the cover) . They also came with "extras" to be able to mount on any car(12V). Lamps also came with these covers when in Lucas boxes.

Correct ones? Black grommet housings and England glass(Not "made in England", blank or "Foreign Glass"). These are the earliest lenses also. There were 2 variants at least I have been told. I also have an NOS lamp with the gray grommet housing with a later "69" lens.

Probably, I have a "bunch" of them. Also have hoods, front fiberglass parts, fenders, front bumpers, set of paradise repro wheels circa 2000s, a few original wheels, some mirrors,  console / gauges, grille, grille aluminum piece, hood chrome pieces,  fender eye brows rechromed, emblems, roll bar for hard top and panels in black, roof retractor seat belts etc.

When I have time I will go pull them out and sell them. More than likely early next year. No time as we are working on a new project  and Thanksgiving,  Christmas and New Years is just around the corner

Nice finds, Gary!

I've noted 7 lens variations over the years.  Best as I can figure out, when the mounting orientation was different for Cougars and then '69 Shelbys, so the TOP casting appeared on those lenses.  Wiring grommet change is tough to nail down.

The inside wire and bulb are different depending on  small black or big grey wire groments and hole size.

Every original 69 I've seen has had the black rubber  grommet that the wire was fed through. I own quite a few of the lens variants. I have not posted my E11 lens yet. I have one NOS in a molded gray grommet lamp and also have a used E11 in a black rubber grommet separate wire housing like the ones posted here. I see a black molded grommet and also a gray molded grommet on later housings.

Does anyone make the small black grommet? I like to refer it it as an O-ring even though it isn't one but looks like one installed if that makes sense.

I have found comparable substitutes in the yellow serv a lite boxes at the hardware store . I don't think it is anything very special.
