"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Last batch. Feel free to add.

Tried to get out there this year, but had other obligations that prevented the trip. Appreciate you posting the pics, lots of eye candy to be had all around.

You are welcome, gentlemen. I took photos of some of the highlights. Time flies when you find yourself going over one or two cars and talking to the owners. Still lots to see. I was surprised by the Ford GT section. As usual a lot of people milling about the barn finds section of the show. Seems more interest there than the shiney and chrome displays. I think this because the cars represent what was and what might be again in the future.  There is also an eerie forlorn vibe that comes off of these cars. They feel like they are trapped in the time they were put away. I find it all very interesting. Old cars. The true time machines that bring us as close as we will ever get to our past.

Took me some time to scan these in.  Another stellar show.

There were not many 428 Cougars made.  Look close, the Cougar in picture #3 has an ASC sunroof.

Thanks for posting the photos.  I particularly liked the Cougar drag car.  I wanted to get a photo but too many were milling around the car so I moved on and neglected to double back.

  Wait, there is more!
The green 68 GT 500 is #00488.  The owner has a sign suggesting it was in the registry long ago.
The Green 66 is #1716.  There is an older rear spoiler on it (picture #3) The owner said they thought the car was hit in the
rear.  The fiberglass trunk lid has a little distress to it.  Next to it was a T-5 65 convertible, 289 Hi Po, 4 speed car.  White with a red interior.  Bothe the 66 GT 350 and the T-5 were recently purchased at a Mecum auction in Dallas. (so he said)
The GT 40 is a Superformance tribute.  Nice job on that as it was in the GT 40 display.

I'm famous.  Wayne was at the car capsule display.  So, being a fellow GT 350 owner, I stepped up to say hello.  Heard the story (again) as to how he acquired his 65 GT 350.
Car Capsule: highly recommended for storage to keep your car dust free over the winter.

Yep, Pete Brock was there but must have been out for a break when I crossed his table. Anyone have any photos of him?

OK sign me up for the Dart gasser. Who can argue with 8 Stromberg 97 carbs (even though they are re-pops) and a magnesium blower?
