How many cars here have had 3 owners or less?

I Think that most of us here are long term owners .
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

I guess it depends on if you include a dealership that never titled it in their name. Mine has had the original owner, his niece, the dealer we bought it from and my us. We got it in 1982.

crossboss

Was the second owner of 0F02R483129. Bought it 1984, and sold it in 2011. Yep, should have never let it go...
Past owned Shelby's:
1968 GT-350--Gold
1970 GT-500--#3129--Grabber Orange.
Current lifelong projects:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase heads, intake with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style
1968/70 Olds 442 W-30

Harris Speedster

Second owner of black 1967 Gt 350, # 45.
It also has the original Okla Nov 1966 title, still in original owners name.

If not most, a lot.

3rd owner since 1976.

if you bought the car in the 70/ 80s and still have it  like  most of above posts   we are the group that has owned the cars longer than all previous  owners .

Only know of 2 owners before me,both of whom I've spoken to.Wouldn't be surprised if there were more..Bought the car in 1982 when they were still (relatively) cheap. No regrets....LOL ;)

Steve McDonald Formally known as Mcdonas

I'm the 3rd  owner if you count Hertz Corporation and the guy I bought it from 52 years ago. He purchased it when i came off rental service in late 66- early 67 (he thinks that was the date) I purchased it in December 1971
Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

Not a Shelby.  Our 1970 428 CJ RA Mach 1, I'm number 5.
Our 1969 Mustang Coupe, we are owner number 2.  Dad bought it from the original owner who had posted it FS on a bulletin board at the Pentagon.  Dad bought it in 1972/3 and some 7 years later, gifted it to me as I graduated college.  Since we have the same name......maybe I can claim I'm the second owner?
Pirating!  Corporate take-over without the paperwork

I've owned 6S550 since August of 1967.  I bought it when Hertz turned them back to Ford and they sold them as used cars. That makes me the only person to actually own the car.  Ron
Original owner of 6S550. Owned since 1967. 64,000 Miles, all body original except hood and front valance. All glass original except windshield. Still has aluminum 4 speed. Has replacement Mico.  Also own 1966 Mustang convertible. They are drivers, not trailer queens.

roddster

  I've owned my 67 GT 350 #0036 since 1971.  (January).  I'm the 3rd owner according to SAAC's records.
  Been a riot!

If you have owned a car twice does count as one or two owners?

shelbydoug

Well I only know of 3 on my '68. Hertz, the middle guy and me.
68 GT350 Lives Matter!

August 2018 I brought my first Shelby

I am the second owner

67 350 4 speed Acapulco blue

I felt very lucky to meet such a nice couple and
listen to all the stories about the car over the years

I have not even transferred ownership yet
Which is something I need to get around to

So technically it's still a one owner ?
