Yes, parts cobbing can be an issue, and hard to detect sometimes.

We'll get another view of the '65 GT350 market when 5s555 crosses the block at BJ. Not sure that is a "complete" car though.

That Triple Nickel will be an interesting one to watch, and luckily it goes across the block just 12 cars before my '67 Corvette tanker,  on Saturday, Jan.27, so I will watch it.

Brian, I would like to add my thanks for your time and effort posting the list of cars and following up with the prices. My favorite use of the DVR is to blow through the auctions then stop for the cars I want to see and hear about. It is fun to guess what a car may sell for and then see the actual results as the bidding takes place. Today will be fun as many Shelbys cross the block. Thanks again.

Does anyone know why the pair of L88 Corvettes(67+69) disappeared as a pair? It wouldn't be the first time a hyped 7 figure car got pulled. They were advertised as lot U78 first and last L88s produced.

Lot U78, the pair of L88's, the Mecum website now lists that lot as selling, for $2.585M including buyer's premium.

Also, CSX3006, lot F231.1, is now listed as selling, for $4.18M, including buyer's premium.

Same here. Disappointing to not see the collection go across. I was looking forward to seeing these cross the block. Kinda weird broadcast hours as I don't think they were on the air for Saturday night's action.

Did they stop the live coverage at 5? IIRC that is what they did when I was at the spring Indy auction. I had a friend who is also a member here who had a bunch of cars that missed the TV part due to the auction running late on that Friday the 19th. https://www.mecum.com/auctions/indianapolis-2023/collections/the-waterford-collection/    Barrett Jackson because of the time zone may be why we see the live portion running later out west than we see of Eastern time zone auctions.

I learned a few years ago to sit in a place where  the TV & a Computer are side by side while watching the auctions. The computer doesn't give you the coverage TV does, at least you get to see the cars you wanted to.... 8)
