Everything changes. Nothing remains static. Boom and bust are repeatable over and over again.

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Yup, stupid money just a few years ago, now that reality is setting in....and sellers just don't get it when it comes to auctions either, private cash sales are soooo much better, so why do the auctions where every car is marked with its sale price....lol

If we get the digital dollar and universal basic income along with the incessant push toward owning nothing and being happy, expect collector car values to drop even further. Maybe become worthless. 2024 is a very important year.

Richard, I agree.

In the Dystopian near-future, governments might promise to provide "approved persons" with a transportation pod, as deemed by the overseers "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."

In the meantime:  Drive 'em as fast we can, as often as we can, for as long as we can.

My personal "Tire Tread Reduction Plan" is already in full-swing.

I look at this a little differently. The higher the prices go, the smaller the market.

I can see that with parts also.

The auction people just say, the right buyer wasn't in the house.
