I think I am missing a part but don't know for sure. the assembly manual does not have a good picture either. is there a bracket that I may be missing that goes between the power top motor and the trunk floor?
pictured below is the motor and the floor which it goes. holes don't line up and in assembly manual it looks like there might be a bracket.
does anyone have a picture of this bracket? or an I missing or have wrong motor? thanks  Jeremy

Yes, looks like this.  I don't know if it is exactly the same as the 65-68 one listed.

Yes, there is a bracket that does. I'm not sure 65-8 is the same as 69-70. I have a spare but not sure where it is and my last time looking for a spare part I haven't found it yet for another guy here(my parts are everywhere in my attic). I parted out a 70 vert in the early 90s for all the specific Vert parts as spares for my vert. I'll either find it or take a pic of mine.

I don't have one. I might be able to get a picture. Check with west coast cougars. I think cougar probably same

Here is a picture looking at it from the trunk side. It is hard to see with the pump mounted but maybe it will give you some insight . Given the pump is the same 65-70 the bracket looks to be very close to the same also. Tim had a good suggest to get with WCC .  I am 99% sure the 69 Cougar is the same as the Mustang .

Here is a bracket I pulled off a 70 Calypso coral vert. Kind odd how it's bare metal on a lot of it and orange. There is no paint and outlines of where washer bolts were mounted. I'd have pull my pump out to see what was going on and if has overspray on it. Car was Acapulco blue repainted over the orange when I bought it and parted it out. Gary

If you look at Bob's pics it appears the bracket is mounted  the way you see it in my pic below if you were peering into the trunk from the rear of the car.

It sure looks close in appearance to the ebay bracket posted earlier too.

They look close but a prior poster said not the same. That ebay one is heavily corroded/pitted. Weird in that my orange one above came out of a 70 so badly rusted structurally that when it was dragged on the salvage yard flat bed I kept the vert structural plate on it because I was afraid to go underneath and take it off. The front was on jack stands and the rear held up by the "rear end/trans" stand I made up out of unistrut. Took all the suspension off the car. The car had a 69 front end, doors(mach1 door panels)  and 69 tilt-away wheel on the car and the core support still had a 69 Mach1 428CJ R-code buck tag which I still have. 2 cars in one? Accidents happened...Great parts car back around 1991.
