I just saw this on my news feed. A garage of a home east of Sacramento (Citrus Heights) went up in flames. In the pic I can see what looks like a red 67 Shelby convertible amount other cars according to CBS news. Sad

A "vert" would mean it's a '68.  Very sad to see it being consumed.

The Tail Light Panel tells you it is a 68.  News People do not know Cars.

Well probably a '68. I don't think that the '67 is in that part of the country but I would not automatically assume the news report was in error?

Hard to say if it were a California Special which are coupes. That to me looks like a convertible.
If there were anyone who might know that would be Jeff Speegle. This is his stomping grounds. He would know most Shelby related cars in the area, I would believe.

Maybe, but I would think that the weight of what looks like part of the garage door laying on it would have easily deformed a convertible top.

I think the Fire took care of the Convertible Top.  That looks like a Roll Bar to me.
