So mid 67 cars and all 68s had the changes? The reason I ask I am going to be replacing my 68  floors soon and want them as correct as possible.
Thanks

Just so we can be as specific as possible. When was your car completed at Metuchen?

why would they change a floor pan in 1968? As a guy in the die trade it costs money and time to do a change on a  set of dies to stamp out a part. I understand multiple sets of dies and you could do run aheads and stagger the changes as to not halt production but am curious why Ford had a need to modify the pans in 68 and not 67.

Yes
current reproduction is modeled after the late 6768 pan so you should be all set there
The drain hole openings are a little little goofy, but they can be modified

As has been posted, there were changes in the '67 pans that appear to be carried over into the '68's and on.

See attached, both '67's the area behind the end of the front sub-frame.  The top image is of a car in the low 1,100 range and the bottom car in the 3,000 range.

Pete and shelbymann1970, I posted a comment in reply on the auction, and said I think when it comes to special paint Shelbys, Pete is a true Democrat and appreciates all without bias.  I guess they won't allow that as it is "political", go figure.

I have seen very early 68's use the late 67 pan ( Nov and maybe into Dec. ) and then transition to the 68 style pan later. The late 68 pan has a different rib near the back of the rear foot wells that the late 67 doesn't have. Sorry I don't have a photo right now.

Old movie line. In the movie Casablanca (my all-time fave), Rick (Humphrey Bogart) remarks to Captain Renault (the Prefect of Police) during one scene: "When it comes to women, you're a true democrat."

Pete, are you surprised that no one has said anything about the quarter panels?
