Have you EVER seen someone actually purchasing or even LOOKING at the high end time pieces, better yet has anyone or do you know someone who recently sold a high end watch. Curious what profit or loss took place.

My wifes cousins husband is a watch collector and one day when we were out sightseeing he up and buys this 1800 dollar watch,I could not believe it.

I have a Rolex stainless GMT that was the very last year before the switch over to the ceramic bezel.  I've owned it for 11 years now and it has more than doubled in price since I've owned it.  I certainly can't say that about my Cartier roadtser.  Both were about the same price new, and now the roadster is 1/4 it's price.
